The Florally Quilt is designed by Heck Yes Sew Company. I loved the pattern when I saw it and I loved the colors because they are my house colors.
The quilt was easy to make but it was larger by a few inches than I can make on my longarm. Somehow, I managed. I took some photos of the stages of construction.
Once the quilt was constructed I put it on my longarm. I used Glide 40 weight #97494 in Sea Foam for the bobbin thread. And Aurifil Monofilament for the top thread.
I used an 80/12 Bernina needle and set my tension at 1.75 and my stitch length at 10. The Bobbin tension was at 200.
I used Quilter's Dream White Cotton Batting. I usually use polyester but the Quilt shop was out. And I quilted the top with straight stitching.
I didn't make this quilt for anyone in particular. Since it has my house colors in it ... I'll probably just keep it for myself.
